Born and raised in western Queensland, Myles has experience across central, southeast, and far southwest regions of the state. He understands the challenges of distance, isolation, and the importance of connection. Myles has actively engaged with marginalized youth and adults. His professional background includes banking and business, as well as fifteen plus years in pastoral care and ministry, providing him with a rich depth of knowledge for his role in Professional Supervision.
At the age of 13, Myles became a follower of Jesus and believes you never stop growing in faith. Myles has an inspiring devotion to Jesus Christ and a heart to be guided by the Bible and by the Holy Spirit in all of life and ministry. His life experience, expertise and faith, joins forces with the dedication and heart for his supervisees to stay "salty".
Jesus called his disciples to be the salt of the earth. Just as they were called, we are called.
Matthew 5:13
Why Professional Supervison?
Called to provide pastoral care? No matter the setting, growing the capacity of yourself and others is essential. Who you engage with to support this call can be of great benefit in achieving positive healthy outcomes. Professional Supervision provides a safe space to explore, learn, and to discover God’s presence as He shapes your present realities. Achieve this ethically and in confidence with “your” supervisor.
What is Professional Supervision?
Supervision is intentionally work focused and it is the supervisee who brings the issues to the supervisor for discussion. It is the supervisee who sets the agenda for these meetings and the success of the supervision process depends on a relationship of trust and transparency between the supervisee and the supervisor. Good supervision will also have a strong emphasis on the well-being of the supervisee so that their ministry is conducted faithfully and compassionately.
